Florida Disaster Fund
The Florida Disaster Fund provides grant opportunities to qualifying organizations meeting disaster-caused needs in Florida with a focus on support for disaster response and long-term recovery activities.
Current Grant Opportunities:
Volunteer Florida Foundation will be accepting applications for:
Hurricane Irma: specific to Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Citrus, Clay, Collier, Columbia, DeSoto, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Glades, Hamilton, Hardee, Hendry, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lafayette, Lake, Lee, Levy, Manatee, Marion, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Nassau, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, Sarasota, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Sumter, Suwannee, Union, and Volusia counties.
To Submit a Proposal:
Volunteer Florida Foundation requires that proposals be submitted through an online system called Blackbaud that can be found here. The application will be available on October 14, 2021 at 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Proposals must be submitted through the Blackbaud system no later than Monday, November 15, 2021 at 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Proposals submitted after this deadline or by any other means will not be considered for funding.
